Some of them readers of the Backyard Pioneer will have a chance to see come to life right here on these pages. While I’ll most likely never poop in a bucket inside of my own home (field expediency can’t be ruled out) I’m confident I’ll take a swing at some of the far ranging projects in this book. This book is filled with projects from the mild to the wild (Google Humanure if you dare!). I found this book by accident while cruising. I feel it is time for me to give credit where credit is due and single out one of the most influential books on the Pioneer Library shelves, The Urban Homestead So in the interest of keeping my mind and creative juices flowing I figured it was time for a Good Old Fashioned Backyard Pioneer Book Review or GOFBPBR for short. Once again life (and a very handsome 7 month old) have gotten in the way of my grand Pioneering plans. The Urban Homestead was one the first books I bought on modern homesteading.
